Introduction

I wanted to start this blog to educate fellow females on good techniques to both be aware of possible danger and how to defend yourself if you are attacked. There are several reasons women are more likely to be victimized. We are generally smaller in stature than men and therefore easier to subdue than a man. We carry purses, which are not only easier to steal than something out of a pocket, but may also get in the way while trying to fight someone off. Let's not even get started on high heels...how well can we really run in those? Although we are more likely to fall victim, we are responsible for knowing what to do when a situation arises and how to protect ourselves.
